"Born and raised in central Maine, I spent the first 22 years of my life living out our state's slogan, “the way life should be,” spending lots of time outside and close to the mountains.  Skiing had been my passion for most of my life; fishing was something I did with my family but I was never truly “hooked” (pun intended) until my move westward to Utah. The quest for big mountains and powder brought me to Utah right out of college.  A few epic snowfall years later, I busted my knee in the park and needed to find a new outdoor outlet.  That’s where fishing filled the void, and then some.  I was fortunate to have fishy people in my life that didn’t mind me tagging along on their quests to sling some line."

"To all my friends that helped me cross rivers with my gimp knee, share their flies and secret spots, and overall spread the stoke for fly fishing, I am forever grateful."

"As many fishing people know, once you catch the fishing bug, it progresses quickly and you are blindsided by your commitment to find water and wave an expensive stick around like a crazy person. As a said "immersed person", I found myself connecting with industry folk and from there I found my place with my first ambassador gigs with Zeal Optics, Blackstrap Ind. and Dolly VardenThe Zeal connection put into motion my involvement in Bloodknot's video, Explore Utah's Green River With Zeal Optics X Bloodknots X Western Rivers Flyfishers Guides. I didn’t realize at the time how fortunate I was to be involved with such a rad crew of people with an ideology on the sport that I would eventually adopt as my own."

"Just over a year ago I met my fishing partner in crime @Brettrenard. From there we put miles on the truck and nights in my tent visiting Utah sweet spots and Montana watering holes. Some Instagram posts later, I landed a gig with Armadaskis. Then, many more fish days under my belt set in motion a Field Ambassador position with Winston Rods and quickly after, Cheeky ReelsI have not taken lightly my privilege to be involved with all these amazing brands.  Integrity is the name of the game; from Zeal, with plant based materials, to Cheeky, with east coast roots and strong community involvement."

"'Made in the USA' is not an easy feat and I’m beyond stoked that I am able to rep BlackStrap and Winston Rods which are made on home soil. The integration between action sports culture and fly fishing is growing, and I am stoked to be playing an active role in it all! Four years ago, I would never have imagined myself investing in a non-snow vacation, but just this spring I headed to the land of the Poon in Boca Grande, and now Tarpon and Trout are tied for a favorite species to throw at.

While I’m out there, whether it’s hucking meat or delicately presenting a size 28 midge, I’m always rocking my Daily Tube.  It’s not easy to stand up to all that mother nature has to dish out, but the single layer design and breath-ability of the tube protects you against it all.  I am a low maintenance girl, and prefer my facemasks to be as well. I need something I can throw in the wash over and over without piling, never wrinkle, and wont fray while bouncing around at the bottom of a fish or ski bag."
