All Hail!

This base layer transcends. I spend all day everyday in the high alpine. I’ve been teaching and coaching 6 days a week for 8 years and a big mountain. This base layer is not only the most comfortable layers I have ever owned, but it works for you as well. It helps regulate body temperature and wicks moister extremely well. I wear it on sunny days and as my base layer on the nastiest storm days. In fact, today was a wet March Mammoth storm that soaked straight through my uniform by mid-day. This layer was my last line of defense against the cold and I stayed dry and warm all day. Don’t get me wrong, this layer is not water-proof, but as an under layer it performs extremely well. It keep my skin from overheating which prevent me from sweating on a wet day (hard goal) which in turn helped me stay warm and dry. Another feature that I love are the thumb slots at the end of the sleeves! That’s right! I never uses these on other brand. They always end up creating a pressure point on my thumb underneath my mittens. So I quit trying them. These actually work and are as comfortable as they get. The slim thumb slots slide right under my mitts keeping that much much water proof on those deep pow days! The last feature I love is the hood. It fits great under a helmet and the chin comes up so high it’s almost a face mask. Comfortable material makes for a snug fit around the face that fits well with goggles as well. This layer is the bomb! You won’t be disappointed.

Best base layer EVER!!
