The Sock Hood Balaclava Facemask from BlackStrap is a classic design that provides maximum protection from the elements. The Sock Hood has a custom 3-panel contoured design to maximize helmet compatibility and comfort. The dual layer construction provides protection from wind and cold temps. The fabric has 4-way stretch, is antimicrobial and moisture wicking and is machine washer & dryer friendly. The Sock Hood is UPF 50+ (UV) rated for sun protection and has an articulated face hole that can be worn on your nose or under your chin without restriction.

Since 2008, our commitment to developing and manufacturing products in the USA has involved working with various domestic textile manufacturers, employing 100's of domestic cut and sew employees as well as operating our product processing from our Bend OR HQ including the quality control, packaging, and distribution of all of our products.
