The Expedition Hood Balaclava Facemask sets the industry standard in warmth, performance, comfort, and protection from the elements. Skiers, snowboarders and snowmobile riders have made The Expedition Hood their go to balaclava when the weather is at its coldest. The Expedition hood has dual layer construction throughout the head, neck and face hinge. It is ergonomically designed and features BlackStrap’s patented Exo-Hinge construction, seamless helmet compatibility and the USA milled, 4-way stretch fabric that is antimicrobial and moisture wicking. The Expedition Hood is UPF 50+ (UV) rated for sun protection.

Since 2008, our commitment to developing and manufacturing products in the USA has involved working with various domestic textile manufacturers, employing 100's of domestic cut and sew employees as well as operating our product processing from our Bend OR HQ including the quality control, packaging, and distribution of all of our products.
Machine Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, and with similar colors. NO BLEACH. Tumble dry low or Hang dry.
